Tharla an 15ú Comhdháil den Irish Learning Technology Association, EdTech 2014 i gColáiste na hOllscoile, Baile Átha Cliath ar 29ú agus 30ú Bealtaine: Eurovision 2020: Technology Enhanced Learning for a New Horizon. Bhí an chomhdháil dírithe ar an tuairisc straitéiseach atá ar tí a bheith foilsithe ag an AE, ‘New Methods of Delivering Quality in Higher Education.
Pléadh réimse leathan ollmhór teicneolaíochtaí agus cuir chuige oideolaíocha le linn na comhdhála leis an bhfoghlaim a chur chun cinn i ndisciplíní éagsúla ag an gcomhdháil. D’fhreastail taighdeoirí ó Fiontar DCU ar an gcomhdháil agus labhair siad le rannpháirithe maidir le huirlisí SpeakApps ar mhaithe le foghlaim teangacha a fheabhsú agus leis an scil labhartha a fhorbairt i measc mac léinn.
The 15th Educational Technology Conference of the Irish Learning Technology Association: Eurovision 2020: Technology Enhanced Learning for a New Horizon. EdTech 2014 took place in University College Dublin on the 29th and 30th of May. The EdTech2014 conference theme aligned with the forthcoming EU strategic report ‘New Methods of Delivering Quality in Higher Education’.
A myriad of innovative technological solutions and pedagogical approaches were highlighted during the course of the conference to further learning in a variety of disciplines were presented at the conference. Researchers from Fiontar DCU attended the conference, where they spoke with delegates about the SpeakApps suite of tools in order to enhance language learning and to develop students speaking skills.
